Roy Rogers Series
The Roy Rogers Series is a different approach to painting the cactus. More abstract and hard edged, the shadows are reminiscent of cowboy shirts with yokes of contrasting colors.
Soon into the series, it occurred to me that all Roy Roger’s movies had a gunfight, so bullets began to fly
through the cactus after the fourth painting.
